Echinodermata
Echinoderms are organized based on similarities that usually include more than five arms radiating from a central body. They lack a heart, brain, and eyes. Their anus is located on their underside, while their mouth is on the opposite side. Echinoderms can grow back arms, spines, or intestines.
Asterias Forbesii
You probably have held an Asterias forbesii in your hands during one of your visits to the beach. But you'd probably refer to this species of the Echinodermata phylum as a starfish. There are about 1,800 different species of starfish in all of the world's oceans. Starfish consume their foods by swallowing their whole prey. This is then processed by the short intestine, and the waste is released through the anus.
